Europe-North-East International Association had been formerly known as Baltic Business Forum Association, just like the main event project. Since 2009 the Association has been organizing the Baltic Business Forums in Polish Świnoujście and German Heringsdorf.
The Association has been founded in 2009 by a group of entrepreneurs and politicians who made it their life’s work to deal with the economy or foreign affairs. The initiative has been supported by President of Poland Mr. Aleksander Kwaśniewski who had been the Head of Strategy Council of the Association. Mr. Dariusz Rosati, Polish MEP was the first Chairman of the Association. Since 2012 ENEIA has been governed by Chairman Jacek Piechota.
ENEIA focuses on implementing EU initiatives for economic, regional , scientific and cultural development. Especially promoting the Eastern Partnership Programme with its initiatives, promoting strategy for Baltic countries.
We are constantly working for the betterment of public-private partnerships, cooperation of science and business as a direct impulse for economic growth and innovation. We are also enabling proper conditions for trade exchange and foreign business expansion, especially in the ABB region (Adriatic-Baltic-Black Sea). ENEIA is one of the few associations focusing on this particular geographic region.
